All Things Kids, Inc. will price, sell, and pay you 50% commission on your gently used clothing & accessories. Please use the following guidelines when dropping off your gently used items.
Guidelines to Follow While Dropping off Items
- Bring your BEST 30 clothing items once a month. Outfits only count as 1 item.
- Please have items neatly folded, no stains or excessive fading, no pet hair and odor free. Items may be brought in a laundry basket, crate, box or paper shopping bag, NO garbage or plastic bags, please!
- We will do a quick check of items when you drop off to make sure there are no holes, stains, fading, odor, etc. We will send any 'no thank you' items home with you at that time. Items then go through a final review for pricing. We price approximately 1/3 to 1/2 of "new" price depending on condition.
- Toys, books, games, equipment & furniture can come anytime.
- All items must be CLEAN and have working batteries. Items with multiple pieces must be in baggies grouped by set.
- We check ALL items for recalls on the Consumer Product Safety Commission (cpsc.gov) website.
- As each item sells you receive 50% of the selling price in your account to use as a store credit or take out as cash, check, Venmo or Paypal.
- Drop offs are now done by appointment. Give us a call or message our Facebook or Instagram pages to set up an appointment time (we are VERY flexible and can almost always fit you in whatever time works best for you)
- If we determine that an item received can't be sold due to unforeseen conditions or recall, we may contact you to pick up the items by a certain date. If items are not picked up by that date, they may be donated. If you are unable to pick up your items by the given date, it is your responsibility to let us know when you will be able to pick them up.
- Consignment account service fee: $2.00 per month for all active accounts (effective 3/1/2015)
Additional Reminders for Consigners
- As always, you may call or email us at any time to check your current balance.
- Items will be available on the sales floor for one whole season. After that, items will be marked down at the discretion of All Things Kids, Inc. and may be donated to local charities depending on current inventory and space.
- We currently consign boys and girls items preemie through size 12.
- We accept gently used books, toys, games, baby equipment, and furniture.
- We can't accept car seats, plush items, breast pumps, cribs made before June 28, 2011.
